CODING NOTES:

A student who has not yet entered the work force must be coded unemployed.  A student who is not employed by the institution but has entered the workforce must be coded 02.

Students who are working on a temporary basis for example in the evenings, weekends or during the vacation to obtain some renumeration must not be coded employed.

It would be expected that the majority of students studying through contact mode, and in particular full-time students, be coded “03”
